A quick observation on salted vs unsalted butter. I purchase salted because unsalted always lists natural flavorings as an ingredient. The salted variety does not. It is my understanding that the natural flavorings are added to unsalted butter to provide taste and act as a preservative. I know that at times a consumer's idea of natural and a food manufacture's idea of natural don't align. At the end of the day, I would rather get the above mentioned effects through salt (a known entity).
