I always use the recipe in the KAF Whole Grain Baking book for cheese danish. They turn out slightly smaller than ones I've seen in bakeries but always light, delicious, and still quite attractive. Love that recipe. And I really appreciate you sharing your fails. It's always comforting to me as a home baker when even the pros have kitchen flubs. Mandi, I totally forgot about that good recipe - thanks for the reminder. And yes, we do have quite a few flubs; hopefully, so we can learn from our mistakes and not put you, our readers, through a similar experience! PJH
