Christine, it sounds like your dough might have been a bit more dense than ideal. This can easily happen if you measure your flour by volume, since scooping your flour into the cup can yield a very heavy cup of flour, which will cause you to add too much flour to your recipe. For best results, we recommend weighing your ingredients, or using this method of measuring your flour by volume.
