I am trying to go sugar free what can I substitute for the brown sugar used in this recipe if anything? I don't know for sure, but I believe Splenda has sugar free brown sugar substitute, as well as their white sugar one. It will change the texture of the cake somewhat, but should work out. ~ MaryJane
