I cannot believe how perfect these were. I am not a fan of thick fluffy cakes, but eat them anyway because it's often the norm. I could hear the crunch when my boyfriend took a corner bite, even across the table. <3!! I agree - thick pancakes turn to sawdust in my mouth. Give me thin/buttery/eggy any day. Glad you enjoyed them! PJH
