Hi Carroll! If you are looking to make stuffing out of this loaf, then yes slicing it and cubing it or tearing it so you get some craggy edges would be best. The herbs called for in the recipe should be sufficient but you can certainly bump them up slightly if you are looking for a more significant herb flavor. Happy baking!
