Made these yesterday and they were a big hit! They go on the cookie list for this year. I didn't have "rum", but I did have "coconut rum"... :D No offense, but I liked the icing better than the cookie... Sugar, butter and coconut rum... Sounds like a winner to me! I did use the "ground nutmeg" and found it a little too subtle for me. I have nutmeg nuts, so next time I'll grate fresh. They also look really pretty with colored sugar on the top, blue, red and green for the season! Love that idea of using different colored sugars! Elisabeth
