Did I miss a step? The top crust was tasty but the bottom was a soggy mess! Did I need to pre-bake the bottom crust? I am sorry the crust was not done thoroughly. I know how disappointing that can be. The crust does not need to be pre-baked. There could be any number of reasons as to why your crust was not baked through like the sausage was not fully cooked or the placement of the pie in your oven.
