Does anyone know if it would be ok to make the cake in two 9 inch cake pans? I only have 1.5 inch deep cake pans and this would also take care of the need to cut it in half. That would be just fine. The cake layers will be thinner, so adjust the baking time. Enjoy! ~ MaryJane
