I've been trying to find the perfect scone recipe to appeal to both of us in the household and this one nailed it! I could not find anything close to cinnamon chips so butterscotch chips it was, everything else I did as directed. I used honeycrisp apples (our favorite so we always have them around) and they smelled so good baking! Texture (he's a texture guy) was dead on. Taste was dead on. Looked great! And I even have a broken shoulder so ease of recipe was also great! Even using one hand (the non dominant one) it was a bit stiff dough for my weaker arm but not an issue with the dough, more of an issue with my left arm! Turned out wonderful. This is my new "go to" for scones!!
