my stepmother would make a similar pan fried bread that would rise higher than these - at least to the top of the skillet, and also made one large fried bread, not smaller ones... would I use the same recipe? I have never found a recipe for a skillet fried bread, before this one, but would like to try to recreate her bread (great with baked beans for a Saturday night)
