What about canned pumpkin? Is it interchangeable with the sweet potatoes in this recipe, especially if you spread the pumpkin on paper towels for about 10 minutes first to get rid of some of the liquid in it? Yes, you will need to really "dry out" the pumpkin and possibly adjust the liquid.
