Don't feel so bad Micheline This 66 yr old has been taking out the 1/2 cup of starter and throwing that away and adding 4 ozs flour and 1/2 cup water to what was left Well it wasn't really bubbling but was growing a little right along Well today is my 7th day and when I went to get it out to feed it was bubbluy and to the top of the bowl its in!!! then I went to make something out of the discard 1/2 cup and discovered that that's what I was suppose to be saving and feeding all along!!! So call to Judy at the help line and will try and do it right from now on Live and Learn lol
