I'm from St. Louis and the one thing that wasn't mentioned is that the pizza sauce does have a sweet hint to it. All the way from Imo's to Rich and Charlie's to The Pasta House and my personal favorite Cecil Whitaker's. There are very few sweet pizza sauce recipes out there. If you are wanting to taste a bit of St. Louis without going there get a slightly sweet pizza sauce along with the recipes from above and enjoy! Don't forget to get a recipe for gooey butter cake and you're in for a treat!
