Hi Michael, we're sorry to hear that your dough is not rising. When you are finished kneading, the dough should have the texture that you can see in the photo under the sentence, "Mix and knead to form a smooth, satiny dough. The dough may seem dry at first; but keep kneading."  The dough should be stretchy and a bit tacky. But not rising after 5 hours concerns me. You should call our Baker's Hotline at 855-371-BAKE (2253) so we can help to troubleshoot further!
