Hi. Just baked my first loaf from my first starter. I was a bit raw looking in the middle and the loaf burned a bit on the bottom. Mostly was the splitting around the bottom edge. Looked a bit like a turtle shell. But at least it rose and tasted good. I am counting this as a pretty good win. Enough to try again. kc
