Hi Wendy. It's possible that the sourdough starter isn't quite strong enough to leaven a loaf yet, but did you also add the yeast? If you added the yeast, it might just need a little more time, or, it may have risen and fallen in the night. If that's the case, you can deflate it, reshape it, and put it in a pan to see if it rises again. The finished loaf would likely be dense.
If you're not already, we encourage you to measure your flour and other ingredients by weight as it's the most accurate. Measuring flour by volume usually compacts extra flour into the cup, making the dough drier and heavier, and prohibits it from rising. Let us know how it turned out! Annabelle@KAF
