The recipe that came with the starter did not mention the parchment -- is that just an extra precaution? The Extra-Tangy Sourdough Bread recipe advises to use lightly greased OR parchment lined baking sheet for the shaped loaves - you know we love the parchment covered sheets for the ease of clean up!
