The first time I had a cream puff I was 24. Bought one from a local grocer's dessert counter on a whim. Instantly fell in love with them. Making Boston cream cupcakes today, I had left over pastry cream- style filling and knew I needed a recipe for the choux dough to make my own cream puffs!
