I made these oatmeal cookies using steel-cut oats as that was what I had on hand. As recommended by KA, I pre-cooked the oats according to the directions on the oatmeal box. I added raisins, walnuts, and sunflower seeds. They are DELICIOUS !! However, they are spongy, even after cooking for 16 minutes. The oatmeal was too wet although I had actually put in a little bit less than the package directed. I'll use your recipe again but not with steel-cut oats!
