Using steel-cut oats will change the texture of the cookies but if you want to give it a try, cook 3/4 cup of steel-cut oats (according to the package directions) and let it cool to room temperature before using in the cookie dough. Prepare the dough and bake as otherwise directed. Happy baking! Kye@KAF
