Wanting to give my own Oatmeal Cookie recipe a little something extra I searched for recipes to compare and found this one. Knew I would count on KA to help me find just what I was missing. Using half butter and half shortening gave the cookies a little something extra as did the addition of nutmeg instead of just cinnamon alone. Now my cookies aren't just good they are awesome!
