Thank you for the dutch oven method--I was reading the comments to see if anyone had made it on the stove or in the over. I heated it on the stove to get the dutch oven warm, then put it in the dutch oven, 275 degrees for 3 hours. Started checking after 2 hours. Wonderful--really like the boiled apple cider and it was tasty without the bay leaf.
