I have 30 grams of starter given me. It looks like about a tablespoon. Should I feed it a tbsp. ea. of water and flour twice a day until it gets bigger? Years ago, a neighbor gave me a cup of a very old starter that had been in her family for years. They fed it sugar and flour but I am not sure I am remember that right. The stuff I made from that starter was delicious. Do you know more about it. Someone told me I could freeze it if I wasn't using it and when I took it out of the freezer I thought I had killed it.
