I’m new to the sourdough starter. I began with fresh KA flour & water that I had set out on counter overnight. Our house stays at 71 degrees which is cool so I used a heating pad with cotton dish towel beneath the starter- heating pad set for warm , it cuts off after 30 minutes. The starter is awesome and so is the bread!! My picky hubby ate 2 slices with butter!! That tells me I am going to love using the SD when making 🍞 breads!! Thanks KA
