Hi!

I made a starter about 2 weeks ago, and have been keeping it at room temp, feeding twice a day, removing all but about 1/2 cup and feeling 1/2 cup lukewarm water and a scant cup of KA all purpose flour. However, I am not seeing it double in size! It rises in its jar maybe an inch at most. Always nice and bubbly, though, and it smells fine. I thought by 2 weeks I would have a rising, mature starter. Any tips on what I could be doing wrong? Thank you!
