Curious, if I simmer water to take out the chlorine and immediately mix it with flour, then let it cool to lukewarm before adding it to my sourdough starter, will it affect the starter in anyway? Since, I am adding the flour and water mixture after they have both been mixed and cooled? It's less lumpy this way, but wondering if I screwed myself.
