I just made my first starter last week and am still trying to get the maintenance down (our apartment is always colder than 70 degrees so the starter now lives in our bedroom!) ..

Should I keep my starter covered in cellophane or leave it open?

I was doing once a day feedings but I think i'll move it to twice a day for the next week before moving it to the refrigerator. Thank you!
