Thanks,
So it's safe to say I feed the starter 1 cup flour and 1/2 cup water? That's what I have been doing. Newb here for starter. This is my first one ever.
Now speaking of caring for it, how do I increase the size of the starter? Cos one of your recipe calls for 2 cup starter. If each time I only keep 1/2 cup starter, and add 1 cup flour and 1/2 water, I won't have the starter I need. So do i simply double the feed and not discard? Example, If i have 1 1/2 starter. Keep that and add 1 1/2 flour, 1 1/2 water to it simply to increase my total starter size? am I making sense here? I am trying to do a linear translation of the amounts to increase my starter size.
