Hi Sadie! You have a few good options for sourdough storage. You can use a 1 qt + mason jar with the lid not screwed on all the way. You could use a glass canister with the rubber gasket removed. Something glass or ceramic is ideal, but a heavy plastic is also fine. You want it to be covered but not airtight. When it's on the counter, you could either use the same container or transfer what you need into a bowl and feed it in there so there's more room for it to grow.
