Hi Treven, there's no specific regimen that needs to be followed for cleaning your crock. Rather, use your own judgment and clean out the crock once it looks like there's a fair amount of residue that's starting to cling to the walls. I tend to clean my crock about one every three feedings, just to give you some idea of a timeline. If you're not cleaning your crock, you can simply discard some of the starter and mix the fresh flour and water right back into it. The fewer dishes, the better! Kye@KAF
