This is exactly what we'd suggest to increase your starter, Beth! The last feeding before you bake, save 8 ounces (rather than 4) of the starter, and feed it 8 ounces of flour and 8 ounces of water. This should allow you to make enough for a large recipe with some leftover to feed and maintain moving forward. Mollie@KAF
