So I have a good starter going and am working with a recipe that calls for 8.5 oz of starter. I fed 4.5oz of my starter with 4.5 oz of flour and 4.5 oz of water but when measuring out I didn't have enough to keep 4 oz as a starter and use 8.5 oz in my recipe. What am I doing wrong?
