The answer depends on if you're using commercial yeast or not. If you're trying to make naturally-leavened pizza crust, you'll need to let the starter sit and become mature before making the dough in order to make it rise. However, if you're looking for a delicious shortcut recipe, you can use our Sourdough Pizza Crust which calls for unfed starter (which means you can start now!).
