hi. i have a pretty well established sourdough starter going but i have a question about what is ok and not ok to add to it for "feeding". i have liked experimenting w other flours, rye & whole wheat specifically, but i wonder if it's ok to add other types...spelt say? or what about whole or steel cut oats even? or does it always have to be flour? i'm thinking as long as it breaks down into sugars it'd be ok eventually or is that just crazy? thanks.
