Not to worry, Lisa, your starter is much more resilient than you think! Extra time at room temp just means that your starter will have burned through more of its food before you put it to rest. To make sure it has enough food for its long sleep in the fridge, you could either go through another round of discarding and feeding before refrigerating or simply take it out and give it another feeding in just another couple of days (rather than the typical week or so).
