We wouldn't worry too much about it, JB. Your starter is relatively dormant when stored in the fridge, but still would have plenty of time between feedings to fully digest its meals, even if they were larger than we suggest. Moving forward, to ensure proportional meals, just discard all but 4 oz (1/2 cup) of your starter before each feeding of 4 oz flour and 4 oz water. Hope this helps to put your mind a bit at ease.
