If you're looking to extend the life of your starter, we recommend drying your starter instead of freezing it. (Or you can always try both options for extra-insurance!) Here are full instructions for drying your starter. Freezing can kill some of the beneficial yeast in your starter, but if you decide to try it you can keep the container closed (tightly). It should be fed within about 24 hours of freezing. Happy baking! Kye@KAF
