In order to maintain a healthy starter, it's important to keep the levels of acidity in balance. This is one reason why we discard part of the starter to begin each feeding. Combining unused starters risks creating high levels of acidity and would likely make each subsequent feeding less productive. You'll get a better rise out of each starter if you feed them separately, but it would probably be okay to combine them if necessary. Like many things in the world of sourdough, it'll take a bit of experimenting to get everything exactly right. Happy baking! Kye@KAF
