Hello all.
I dont get it: In the topic "Maintaining your starter in the refrigerator" it says my starter may return to the fridge after fed and 2 to 4 hours at room temperature. And, in the Ready to Bake topic, it says my starter has to be fed for about 2 days (if you count the various feeding phases in total), and, only after that, it shall return to the fridge the remaining not used to bake.
Why not, take out the amount of starter I will need to bake, feed it for as long as its needed, and return the fed remaining starter to the fridge as directed in the Maintaining topic? The directions seem contradictory. Thanks a lot. Great blog. Mariana
