I have a jar of homemade sauerkraut in my refrigerator along with some homemade yogurt. In you opinion, would the starter stored in a mason jar with a tea towel rubber banded securely around the top cause cross contamination issues in the refrigerator or should I be ok since I am essentially working with three different types of fermentations. Thanks!
