I just received my starter and am planning the first feeding to be tomorrow morning as that works best for my schedule. In the pamphlet it says to grow a large amount of starter, simply feed it 1 cup of water and 2 cups of flour, wihtout discarding any. Feed again 2 to 4 hours later, and you'll have plenty onhand to use or to share. I am interested in increasing my starter but want to know if I have to wait a specific amount of time to do so or go for it at the start? Thank you so much! I love this site!!
