Pam, your starter should be fine and is probably just a little dormant from its time in the refrigerator. Try giving it two a day feedings at room temperature (once in the morning and once in the evening) and see if it doesn't get bubbly and vibrant after a few feedings. If not, it might be time to start over. Here is our recipe for starting your own starter, just in case a "do over" is necessary. Barb@KAF
