Absolutely, Laura - as long as it's basically the same thickness as our starter (which ranges between very thick but pourable, to almost but not quite pourable), you should be fine. Start out using a lesser amount of water (or milk) in your recipe, as you can always add more - but it's impossible to add less. :) Good luck - PJH
