I'm not quite sure what is going on with your starter, but we'd be glad to talk you through it if you give the Baker's Hotline a call: 855-371-2253. Don't give up on it yet! It sounds like it's just going through a rough patch. Unless it's turning orange or pink or has visible mold on it, it's always worth trying to resurrect! Barb@KAF
