About a month ago, I made a starter according to your instructions, and it was going gangbusters. Lovely stuff. Then, a few days ago, my husband purchased "purified" instead of "distilled" water (our tap water is chlorinated). After using the purified water, my starter seemingly stopped "breathing" or rising. No bad smell, no pink stuff, but no bubbles or rising, either. I changed it back to distilled water last night, but after three feedings, I have seen no improvement.
