The 9x13 pan instructions make a lot of sense. But if you are using a tube pan, do you put the streusel on the bottom and pour the batter over it? I think that would make it a bit soggy. The photo of the cake makes it look like the streusel was indeed on the bottom. How did that work out?
The batter is poured into the pan and the streusel is evenly sprinkled on top for baking. After baking, the cake is unmolded from the pan and then flipped back over so that the streusel remains on top. ~Amy
