In the opening statement it says 4 ounces (1 cup) and in the next sentence it says 4 ounces (1/2 cup). This appears to be 2 different ratios. Could help my wife and I clarify how we should mix this. As a 1 to 1 ratio or as a 1/2 to 1 ratio. Thank you for your help. Our last starter died while living in the freezer during a short vacation trip.
