Hi there, Rose! You don't need a new jar every time you feed your starter unless this makes it easier for you! If you're using the same jar, just be sure to scrape down the sides well and clean the vessel every week or so. When you do clean the jar, just be sure to rinse it with hot water after washing to ensure there is no soap residue left behind. Happy baking!
