Hello... I have a starter which is on it's 10th day of feeding (twice a day, every 12hours, 9am and 9pm). In the last few days I've had lots of activity, lots of bubbles and foaminess. It rises nicely, usually to its peak within 4hours but then drops quite quickly and smells a little like nail polish remover when I come to feed it again at 9pm. How do I get it to last longer between feedings? I don't really want to have to feed it more than twice a day. I have already tried reducing the temperature of the water but this doesn't seem to have made much difference. Or is it now ready to bake with??
